Institutional Mandate & Safety Commitment

Zero Tolerance Policy: Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited on the campus, hostels, and college transport of Luqman College of Pharmacy as per the Karnataka Education Act 1983, Supreme Court of India directives, PCI, UGC, and AICTE regulations.

Luqman College of Pharmacy maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. The Anti-Ragging Cell works continuously to prevent misconduct, promote student ethics, and ensure an environment where new entrants feel welcomed, safe, and supported throughout their academic journey.

It is mandatory for every admitted student (D.Pharm, B.Pharm, M.Pharm) and their parents to submit an online Anti-Ragging Affidavit at the time of admission in compliance with UGC and PCI statutory requirements.

Penalties for Misconduct

Any student found guilty of committing, encouraging, or abetting ragging within or outside the campus premises shall face immediate and strict disciplinary action in accordance with institutional guidelines and legal statutes:

  • Academic Debarment: Immediate suspension from attending classes, laboratory practical sessions, or internal assessments/examinations.
  • Financial & Privilege Withdrawal: Withholding of results, scholarships, fellowships, campus placement eligibility, and institutional recommendations.
  • Expulsion & Legal Action: Cancellation of admission, rustication from the institution, hostel eviction, and immediate lodging of an FIR with local law enforcement agencies.
